One more defamation complaint filed against Karunanidhi

The City Public Prosecutor, in his prayer before the Principal Sessions Judge, also sought prosecution of Editor of DMK organ 'Murasoli' S Selvam for publishing Karunanidhi's comments alleging family interference in clearing of files by the ministers.

The Prosecutor submitted Karunanidhi had made the remarks against ministers K T Pachamal and N R Sivapathy which were published in the August 23 edition of Murasoli.

The Jayalalithaa Government has already filed a spate of defamation complaints against Karunanidhi, his son M K Stalin and several newspapers, especially Murasoli.
