One more tribal baby death in Attapady

Amidst concerns of malnutrition among tribal children in Attapady, one more infant, a 10-day-old baby boy, died today.

The baby, weighing 1260 grams, was born pre-term at the Sholayar tribal super-speciality hospital, health department officials said.

This year nine children have died in Attapady against 17 in 2014.

Attappady is one of the largest tribal settlements in Kerala.
