OUAT VC resigns from post
"Prof. Ray has relinquished the post today. His term will be complete from tomorrow," Agriculture Minister Debi Prasad Mishra informed the Assembly.
The minister made this announcement after BJD MLA and former Agriculture minister Pradeep Maharathy raised question on the extension given to Prof Ray as the VC of the OUAT.
Ray was re-appointed for three more years in 2009 as the VC of OUAT.
