Two persons were held with 480 Ketamine hydrochloride injections from Bhadrakali area here by a joint team of police and health department.
Rajiv Arora and Naresh Paliwal were arrested by a five- member team led by Muni-Ki-Reti police station headed by health inspector of Tehri district Chandra Prakash Negi and police station sub-inspector Manoj Negi from Bhadrakali area yesterday, Inspector Avvwal Singh Rawat said.
480 Ketamine hydrochloride injections, a banned substance worth lakhs were recovered from them.
The duo was going to sell these in Laxmanjhula area to foreign tourists when they were arrested with it.
Ketamine hydrochloride injection in prescribed dosage is used by anaesthetists for patients undergoing surgery.
