Over Rs 21 lakh in banned currency notes seized

Rs 21 lakh in banned currency notes were seized from three youths during checking on the Meerut-Karnal highway, police said today.

Demonetised currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 were seized from three youths on the highway near Suhana village in Shamli district last evening, they said.
