Over three kg gold seized at Kolkata airport

Customs officials seized 3.570 kg gold from two passengers when they arrived from Singapore by a flight at the airport here, airport sources said today.

While one passenger was carrying three kg of gold, another 570 grams of the yellow metal in a flight that landed here last night.

The passenger carrying three kg of gold in a sound box was arrested, the other one was detained, the sources said.
