A former central committee Secretary of JMM, Dr Nasar Firdausi has resigned from the primary membership of the party.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the style of functioning of Hemant Soren-led coalition government and the party's continuous ignorance towards him, Firdausi has sent his resignation letter to the party supremo Sibu Soren, Firdausi said today.
Firdausi, who was an active member of the party for over a decade, alleged that the Soren duo had been preaching for development during their respective tenure as chief minister of the state, but did not initiate any concrete step in this regard.
Referring to the implementation of the Sachar Committee recommendation, Firdausi said its non-implementation under BJP-regime was understandable, but it was ridiculous to note that not an inch was moved forward in this regard even in the JMM-led government formed in alliance with so-called secular parties like Congress and RJD.
