The national capital today witnessed overcast skies during the day which kept the mercury below the normal level.
The maximum temperature settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.9 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, a meteorological department official said.
Humidity levels oscillated between 71 and 41 per cent.
The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy skies along with the possibility of light rain for tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius respectively tomorrow," the MeT office said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius and 28.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
