Overnight rains brought down the temperature in Bihar but humidity during the day raised the level of discomfort across several cities in the state today.
Patna received 18.3 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, according to the Met office.
Purnea witnessed 28.9 mm rain during the period, it said.

Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 32.8 degree Celsius, the bulletin said.
Maximum temperature was 33.4 degree Celsius in Gaya, 35.6 in Bhagalpur and 34.4 in Purnea.
But, humidity during the day troubled citizens.
Humidity was 92 per cent in Patna, 77 per cent in Gaya, 85 per cent in Bhagalpur and 88 per cent in Purnea.
The state weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with light rains in Patna and Gaya in the next 24 hours.
