A self-trained artist, his works are testament to his deep engagement with nature and it's themes, celebrating the richness of lush landscapes through its colour, mood and varied forms.
"I paint on nature and themes related to it as I travel and walk a lot. I love walking in the woods and it is from here that I derive my inspiration. I find that nature is beautiful in all its forms and I attempt to capture that very beauty," says Puri.
The veteran artist, has held many solo shows including, 'Wilderness' in October, 2007, 'Vasundhra - a celebration of landscape' in December, 2005, 'Rhapsody in Hues' in Lagos, Nigeria in March, 2005. MORE
