Pak seizes huge cache of arms, ammunition near Afghan border

Pakistani security forces today seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the country's restive northwest tribal region near Afghan border.

The arms were dumped underground by terrorists for carrying out terrorist activities in the area. The seized arms and ammunition included mortar shells, rocket launchers, SMGs, LMGs and thousands of rounds, officials said.

The seizure is considered to be the major achievement in ongoing anti-terrorism operation.
