'Palestinians fire at Jerusalem police, attackers shot dead'

Two Palestinians opened fire on Israeli police just outside Jerusalem's old city walls before being shot dead by officers, according to police.

"Two terrorists were shot and killed, both of whom fired at security forces," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told an AFP reporter at the scene yesterday, on the border of east and west Jerusalem.
