Large number of people thronged the sea shore in coastal village of Vaithikuppam here today on the occasion of celebration of 'Maasi Magam' festival.

Deities from several temples including those from neighbouring Tamil Nadu villages were installed at the sea shore for 'theertha vaari' (sprinkling of sea water) and for special poojas.
