According to Confederation of Indian Petroleum Dealers, in the first phase of the agitation the dealers would decline to take stock from public sector oil companies on October 1 and 2.
If the demands were not met by October 15, the pumps would cut short services to eight hours a day, which would mean retail outlets would remain closed in the night, CIPD vice president Alex Vallakkalil said in a statement here.
Over 30,000 dealers in various states would join the stir, he said.
The demands also include implementation of Apurvachandra Committee recommendations, Vallakkalil said.
