CBI today announced cash reward to those providing information that may help arrest 52 accused in the station house officer (SHO) Phool Mohammad murder case.
The agency declared a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh on information leading to the arrest of deputy superintendent of police Mahendra Singh Tanwar and Banwari Lal Meena of Sawaimadhopur, a police spokesman said.
Any information leading to the arrest of remaining 50 accused will get a reward of Rs 25,000 each, he said.
SHO Phool Mohammed was burnt alive in his jeep by a mob at Surwal village in Sawai Madhopur in March 2011 after one Rajesh Meena jumped to death from an overhead water tank to protest against alleged police inaction in a murder case.
