Pistol, rifle bayonet missing from Raj Police Academy

A pistol and a rifle bayonet are found missing from the arsenal of the Rajasthan Police Academy, police said today.

One 9 mm pistol and the bayonet of an AK 47 rifle are found missing from the academy since yesterday, they said.

A case against unidentified people was lodged under section 380 of the IPC (theft), police added.

"Some insider is involved in this matter as the premises is unaccessible to by any unauthorised person," investigating officer Vikram Singh said.
