Senior journalists plea Kerala to set up a comprehensive health scheme

Senior Journalists Forum- Kerala has urged the state government to set up a comprehensive health scheme for retired journalists.

In a resolution adopted at the state conference, which concluded at Thrissur, the forum also sought statutory status to Kerala Journalists Welfare Pension Scheme,representation in Pension Committee, appointment of a full time Public Relations Director and hike in pension of indigent journalists.

The conference elected C R Ramachandran as President of the Forum and A Madhavan as General secretary.
