PM greets Shahshi Kapoor on being awarded Dadasaheb Phalke

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated veteran actor Shashi Kapoor on being presented the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

"It was wonderful seeing the versatile & much admired Shashi Kapoor ji being presented the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Congratulations to him," the Prime Minister said.

The award was conferred upon Shashi Kapoor earlier in the day by Arun Jaitley, Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Finance, in Mumbai.
