PM recalls Lord Mahavir's message of peace on Jayanti
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today recalled the message of peace and welfare of Lord Mahavir on his Jayanti.
"On Mahavir Jayanti I bow to the venerable Lord Mahavir, who showed the path of peace and welfare for entire humanity," the Prime Minister tweeted this morning.
His tweet also carried a picture of Lord Mahavir sitting in 'samadhi'.
Lord Mahavir was the 24th and the last Tirthankara of the Jain religion.
