PMK's General Council meeting in Salem on Feb 15

Important decisions on how to face the 2016 Assembly polls and on political situation in Tamil Nadu will be taken after discussion

PMK, an ally of BJP-led NDA, has called for a special meeting of its General Council in Salem on February 15 to decide its strategy to face the 2016 Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, among other issues, its president G K Mani said today.

"Important decisions on how to face the 2016 Assembly polls and on political situation in Tamil Nadu would be taken after discussion," he said in a statement.

Party founder S Ramadoss, former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss would preside, he added.
