An alleged car-jacker duo landed in the police net after being tracked through a GPS device within three hours of stealing a car at knife-point near Ghitorni metro station in south Delhi, police said today.
With the arrest of the duo, identified as Rahul (22) and Amit (20), the police claimed to have solved as many as seven robbery cases at south Delhi's Fatehpur Beri, Neb Sarai and RK Puram areas in the past few months.
According to the police, the duo allegedly robbed a man of his car, mobile phone and wallet, from near the metro station at south Delhi's Ghitorni area around Friday midnight. They asked for a lift and soon took out knife from behind.

The victim approcahed the police and informed that there was a GPS device in his car with which the movements of the vehicle could be tracked.
A police team was formed immediately and the car was tracked through the GPS.
"The stolen car was chased from Kalandi Kunj, Yamuna Expressway, Noida and Greater Noida to UP's Bulandshehar district, where it was finally intercepted around 4 AM on Saturday," said DCP (South) Prem Nath.
