With the arrest of two persons, police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers active in Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida.
Police said that the arrested have been identified as Shoaib and Arvind, both residents of Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad.
"Police got information that two robbers were planning to execute a robbery in Nyaykhand-3 area last night. Acting on tip-off, a police team was sent there and robbers were arrested," said a senior police officer.
Officer also said that police had recovered two knives from their possession, adding that Shoaib and Arvind used to commit robbery in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad.
"Police are now interrogating them about hideouts of their accomplices, who would be arrested soon," officer also said.
