Police constable killed in road accident

A police constable was killed when a speeding vehicle hit his motorbike in front of Dhanvantari College in Chhatta Kotawali area of the district this afternoon.

"Constable Dilip Singh, a resident of village Arhera falling under Vrindaban Kotwali, was going towards Kosi Kalan when a speeding vehicle hit his motorbike from behind.

"Dilip died on the spot. The vehicle driver managed to flee with his vehicle," deputy superintendent of police Atul Kumar Srivastava said.

Recruited in 2011, Dilip was posted in Agra. At present, he was on duty at Sri Krishna Janmasthan, Srivastava added.
