Police organises anti-drug rally in J-K

Jammu and Kashmir police today organised a rally in Kathua district to create awareness among youths about the menace of drug addiction.

The rally was organised under the police's Civic Action Programme. Over 2,500 students and civil society members participated in the rally flagged off by DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua range Shakeel Ahmad Beig, police said.

On the occasion, Beig said the objective of the rally was to create awareness among the youngsters about the ill-effects of drug addiction.
