Police trace 58 cell phones; hand them to owners

As many as 58 cell phones, worth Rs 5.70 lakh were traced and handed over to respective owners, police said today.
"A special drive to trace missing cell phones was undertaken by Zone-I of the city police," DCP Zone-I Abishek Tgrimukhi told PTI.
A special cell was set up in the zone which deals with the technical analysis of the crimes. This team co-ordinated with the cell phone companies and helped trace out the location of the cell phones which had gone missing, the DCP added.
58 such cell phones were recovered in the past two months and recently handed to the respective owners, said Tgrimukhi.
