Policeman beaten up badly

Constable Kamlesh Singh had a dispute with shopkeepers yesterday over replacing his mobile phone battery after which he was beaten up badly by them, they said.

The injured constable was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be out of danger.

An FIR has been registered in this connection. No arrests have been made so far in this connection.
