Polling parties to be sent by air to Kathua

Polling parties will be sent by air to 23 polling stations in remote and hilly areas in the border district of Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir.

Due to bad weather conditions in snow-bound areas in Bani and Billawer constituencies in Kathua district, 73 polling parites may be airlifted to their respective polling booths, District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Kathua, Shahid Iqbal said today.
