Posthumous Padma Vibhushan demanded for Sailen Manna

Mohun Bagan today demanded conferment of Padma Vibhushan posthumously to former India football captain and Olympian Sailen Manna who died last year.

Mohun Bagan general secretary Anjan Mitra said, "The exploits of Manna is known to one and all and it would be most befitting if he were to be honoured for his achievements."

Manna is a recipient of the Padma Shri in 1971.
