Powerful IED recovered in Assam

Acting on a tip-off, the 299 Field Regiment recovered the IED which was kept inside a bag in the backyard of Tankeswar Kurmi's house in Teokhabi village, they said.

The IED, weighing more than two kgs, was later defused by the army's bomb disposal squad.
