Pregnant woman killed, 3 injured in road accident

A pregnant woman was killed while three others were injured today when the bike they were riding was hit by a truck on Gola-Lakhimpur road.

Sangita (32) along with relatives Babbar, Pinki and Nancy was going somewhere on the bike when the incident took place, a police official said.

While Sangita died on the spot, the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, he added.

Police is trying to nab the truck driver.
