Pregnant woman, son dies of electrocution

A pregnant woman and her son died of electrocution in Bihar's East Champaran district, a police officer said.

The incident took place in Ganerva village where a 32 year-old pregnant woman Rubi Devi and her seven year-old son Rangila Kumar were asleep when the electric wire snapped and fell on them, Areraj police outpost in-charge Ashok Kumar said.

The mother and son died on the spot, he said adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
