President Pranab Mukherjee today expressed confidence that relations between India and Bangladesh will expand further and embrace new areas of cooperation in a mutually-beneficial manner.
In his message to his Bangladesh counterpart Mohammad Abdul Hamid on the eve of the neighbouring country's National Day, Mukherjee recalled their meeting of December last.
"I am confident that the relationship between our two countries would continue to grow and expand to include new areas of cooperation in a mutually-beneficial manner," Mukherjee said while extending warm greetings and felicitations for the occasion of Bangladeshi National Day tomorrow.
