Emphasising the need for transparency, accountability and completion of development work within a time frame, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das today said the priority of his government was to implement Information Technology in all the departments.
"We will implement IT in all departments soon. 60 to 70 per cent corruption will be checked on its own and transparency will be improved," Das said while inaugurating a 33/11 KV sub-station near Surya Temple in Sidgora today.
The state government was committed to providing good governance and rapid development, he said claiming ministers and officials were working as a team to achieve the result.

"As far as the power sector is concerned, we have targeted to develop Jharkhand as a power hub by 2019," the Chief Minister said.
"During my visit to Delhi three days ago, I and the Chief Secretary had a discussion with the chairman of NTPC to set up a 4,000 MW power plant in Pataratu," Das said adding NTPC officials would soon visit the state and the construction work was likely to begin by April 15.
"It is ridiculous that a state having 40 per cent of the country's mineral deposit is reeling under darkness," he regretted, stressing that the state would produce surplus power by 2015.
The Chief Minister also urged to improve the work culture in Jharkhand State Electricity Board.
