Protest rally against alleged molestation bid in Kolkata

A massive protest rally was organised today in the Topsia area of Kolkata against the alleged molestation bid on a teenager.

Alleging "inaction" on the part of the police, the rally organised by the locals, demanded punishment for the culprits to make Topsia a safer place.

Some people tried to molest the teenage girl while she was returning home on Friday night. She raised alarm and her brothers came to her rescue.

However, the miscreants severely beat up the brothers before fleeing.

An FIR was filed subsequently but no arrests have been made so far.
