PTI Madurai bureau chief Singan retires

S Singan, Manager of the Press Trust of India's Madurai bureau, retired today after serving the organisation for 32 years.

He joined PTI as a journalist in Chennai in 1984 and moved two years later to Madurai, where he worked till superannuation.

Singan was given a farewell by his colleagues.
