Putin says exclusion of Russian athletes from Olympic Games

President Vladimir Putin today denounced as "strange" the exclusion of Russian athletes from the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Olympics over alleged state- sponsored doping.

"For us certain things are truly strange," Putin said in televised remarks as he spoke to the country's team ahead of the Games starting February 9 in South Korea.
