PWD minister orders inquiry into construction of Thane flyover

Maharashtra PWD Minister Eknath Shinde today ordered an enquiry into the construction of Kapurbawdi flyover here.

A portion of the bridge slab developed a crack last week. It had to be pulled down.

The minister said the Mumbai arm of the bridge had been opened for vehicular traffic in a hurry by the previous administration when it was not completely ready.
