'Quasar' lifts President of India Gold Cup

Odds on favourite 'Quasar' trained by M.Narredu and ably ridden by Jockey YashNarredu claim the prestigious President of India Gold Cup (Grade-I) over 2,400 metres,the feature event of the 17th day Hyderabad Monsoon Races held here today.

Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajendar presented the glitering Cup to the owners of the winner.

Well-backed 'Policy Maker'(DeepShanker up) won the 1,200 metres The Soli And Gool Poonawala Memorial Cup, the supporting event of the day.
