Rahul to attend Karunanidhi's birthday celebrations

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will attend DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi's 94th birthday celebrations at Chennai tomorrow.

Sources said Gandhi will be on a two-day visit to the state and will attend the grand celebrations planned on Kalaignar's 94th birthday and completion of 60 years as legislator at YMCA grounds in Chennai.

He is also slated to hold a meeting of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee's executive with senior leaders from the state on Sunday.
