Rail passenger service from Ranchi to Tori launched

Railways today extended the passenger service upto Tori from Ranchi on the newly- constructed broad gauge line.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the extension of Ranchi-Barkichanpi daily passenger service upto Tori to provide train services on the 29.5 km Barkichanpi-Tori section through video conferencing from here.

Lok Sabha MP S K Singh along with senior Railway Ministry officials were also present on the occasion.
