Rain forecast: Telangana CM directs officials to be on alert

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar today directed the to remain alert in view of the heavy rain forecast in the coming three to four days in the state.

directed S K Joshi to issue instructions to all officials concerned to be in their respective work place and coordinate with all the departments and take necessary steps, an official release said.

The today warned of heavy to very heavy rain with extremely heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places including in Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal and Mahabubnagar districts of the state for the next three days.

It also predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers of very likely to occur at most places.

Many parts of the state received heavy rains on Friday and Saturday.
