A farmers' organisation today said it will travel to New Delhi on December 26 where its members will stage a demonstration at Jantar Mantar to highlight issues troubling the peasants community.
The farmers will begin their movement from Dudu town to press the government for their demands, including loan waivers, Kisaan Mahapanchyat said.
"We want the farmers to be free from all kinds of loans and government should implement the recommendations of the National Commission on Farmers constituted in 2004," said Rampal Jat, national president of Kisaan Mahapanchyat.
The Centre should also get Farmers Income and Pricing Guarantee Bill 2012 passed in Parliament, he said in a statement.
