Raje govt changing economic policies frequently: Gehlot

Press Trust of India Jaipur
Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot today alleged that the BJP government in the state was changing various economic polices including that of opium and mining to encourage middle men and charge more money from the people.

The prices of gravel used in civil works construction was staggering since the BJP government came to power in December 2013 and it was directly benefiting the contractors and mafia engaged in mining works, he said in a statement here.

Similarly, the opium products were being sold openly in the market at higher prices in which middlemen, contractors and mafia were hand-in-gloves with the government officials, Gehlot said.

He demanded that the Raje government should take action against these mafia and contractors and ensure smooth supply of gravel and opium to consumers.
