The Reserve Bank today barred NRIs from buying shares of Creative Merchants as foreign shareholding by NRIs has crossed the permissible limit of 10 per cent.
" ... No further purchases of shares of this company would be allowed through stock exchanges in India on behalf of NRIs", an RBI notification said.
As per data available on BSE, promoter held 6.67 per cent in the company as of December 2015 and the rest of 93.33 was held by public.

PVR opens multiplex at Pathankot; crosses 500 screens count * Multiplex chain operator PVR has crossed the mark of 500 screens by adding its first multiplex in Pathankot.
After addition of four-screen multiplex at Pathankot, now PVR has a total count of 501 screens operating at 111 properties in 45 cities across India, PVR said in a statement.
With this, PVR is now operating 51 screens at 9 properties in Punjab across Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Mohali, Chandigarh (UT) and now Pathankot.
Tally Solutions wins its one millionth customer
* Homegrown software company Tally Solutions today said it has now one million customers seeking its services, three decades after its incorporation.
The one million customers are spread across 100 countries in Middle East and North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, Asia Pacific, and SAARC countries, it said in a statement.

Sameer Chadha new KPMG Global Services CEO * Accountancy major KPMG's offshore arm in the country today announced the appointment Sameer Chadha as a partner and chief executive.
Chadha joins KPMG Global Services (KGS) from Barclays Shared Services, where he has served as the chief executive.
"KGS is integral to KPMG Global as well as the India strategy and we are confident that with Sameer's leadership, KGS will progress to the next level of growth and expansion," KPMG's country chief executive Richard Rekhy said in a statement.

Zuver raises Rs 1.2 crore in maiden funding round * Zuver, a startup which helps users get a driver on demand, has raised Rs 1.2 crore in its maiden funding round.
The money has been raised from the Bengaluru-based HR consultants Shruth and Smith Group and a city-based builder Hermes Group, it said in a statement today.
The company has an application which helps users to book a driver either in advance on real time on an hourly basis or for the entire day, it added.
Zuver has 60 drivers and is currently scouting for more funding to expand into Pune and Bengaluru.
