Refined palmolein firmed up modestly in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on sustained demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, linseed oil, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 498 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 496. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 830 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseedoil all closed unaltered at Rs 4,150 per 100kg, Rs 860 and Rs 760 per 10kg, respectively.
