Refined palmolein surged in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on rising demand from retailers.
While, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein gained further by Rs 11 per 10 kg to Rs 575 from Monday's close of Rs 564 and groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,825 per 100 kg, Rs 995 per 10 kg and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
