Relative of SP MLA accused of forcibly seizing tractor

An FIR was lodged against a relative of the local Samajwadi Party MLA here after he was accused of forcibly taking away two tractor trolleys laden with bricks at a village here, police said.

In the FIR lodged at Ubhaon police station, Upendra Yadav, whom police said was the cousin of Bairia MLA Jai Prakash Anchal, has been accused of forcibly seizing the two tractor trolleys yesterday at Pasuhari village here and taking them to a college run by him.

The FIR has been lodged under Section 342 of IPC (wrongful confinement), police said, adding that investigations were on in this connection.
