A 12-feet high replica of the famous Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil was unveiled today at a college here.
The statue, mounted on an eight-feet high pedestal, was unveiled by Archbishop of Agra Albert D'Souza on the campus of the 167-year-old St Peter's College here, college principal Fr John Ferreira said today.
Ferreira said the replica of the original 98-feet tall statue was installed as part of the beautification of college campus.
