Rescue operations are underway for the sixth consecutive day to save a six-year-old girl who fell into a 100-metre deep borewell in Alwar's Rajgarh area last week.
Komal was playing near the borewell when she fell into it in Barer village near Rajgarh town last Tuesday.
"Rescue teams are working day and night but the operation is turning out to be a herculean task as the digging of a tunnel for rescue of the girl is hampered due to rocks," police said.
"There is no movement in the girl and chances of her being alive are bleak. Rescue teams are making attempts to dig a tunnel but rocks underground are posing difficulties," the police said.
