Unidentified assailants allegedly robbed two residents, including one belonging to a retired sub-inspector, in separate incidents in Sirsa tappo village here, police said today.
In the first incident, dacoits barged into the house of retired sub-inspector Shanker Pal yesterday and decamped with jewellery and cash worth Rs 5,000, a police official said.
In a similar incident, thieves looted jewellery and cash from the house belonging to Sneh Kumari while they were asleep.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons, they said.
No arrest has been made so far and the investigation into the matter is underway, police added.
